Julie is a Registered Nurse Psychotherapist with over 20 years of dedicated practice and experience in providing comprehensive mental health care to individuals across their lifespan. Julie has specialized training in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness- Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Crisis Intervention and Trauma Counselling.

Julie brings expertise from her nursing experience in a variety of settings, which include:

  • Primary care, alongside Physicians

  • Community care, for Adults and Seniors with medically complex needs · Tertiary care, for Adult Inpatient mental health

  • Outreach care, for Adolescent mental health · Outpatient care, for Child and Adolescent mental health and their Families

  • In-school Mental Health Addictions service, for High-school Aged Teens

  • Active Community Treatment care, for Adults with Serious Mental Illness

  • Mobile Crisis Response service with Police members, for Individuals in crisis

Julie is knowledgeable and compassionate with added interest in engaging with:
