Karen Armstrong completed her undergraduate education at Brock University and received her Honours Bachelor of Physical Education (Movement Studies) in April, 2008. Karen then went on to teach in the Outdoor Education field, building leadership and life skills for youth. In 2010-2011 Karen completed the Outdoor Experiential and Ecological Education program at Lakehead University, earning her a Bachelor of Education with First Class Standing. She spent the next few years teaching a broad range of subjects, while focusing on Physical Education at the high school level. She also worked at a multidisciplinary clinic as a Physiotherapy and Laser Assistant, gaining knowledge and experience in a wide variety of injuries and treatment plans, along with experience in rehabilitation exercises. In 2015-2016, Karen completed her 2200 hour Massage Therapy Diploma from D'Arcy Lane Institute, learning about anatomy, physiology, pathology, kinesiology, treatments, along with gaining clinical experience. She is now a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
Karen resides in Port Elgin, and enjoys beach volleyball, indoor volleyball, hiking, camping, and spending time at the beautiful beaches we have in our area.
