Psychotherapy and Counselling 

These services are offered at Maple Shores Health Centre by Catharine Crawford. 

Catharine uses the following treatment models:

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) - an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma, distressing life events, anxiety, depression and self-esteem. 
  • Brainspotting – a holistic treatment modality for use in sessions, designed to alleviate emotional and somatic disturbances and increase well-being through focused attention in one’s visual-spatial field 
  • Mindfulness and Mindful Self Compassion (MSC)
  • Emotions Focused Therapy
  • DBT Skills
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
